Ping G20 Irons
With the G20 irons you’ll hit the ball long but with distance control. Perimeter weighted with a deep cavity design, the 17-4 stainless steel heads are highly forgiving. An elastomer cavity badge provides solid feel and sound while enhancing distance control. Forgiveness and accuracy are achieved through extreme perimeter weighting in the 17-4 stainless steel head. A multi-material cavity badge made of soft elastomer improves feel and sound while enhancing distance control, allowing you to play your best golf. Consistent, precise distance control results by using a thin face backed by a floating CTP structure. Weight in the back flange of the deeply cut, multi-cavity head increases the MOI. Combined with PING’s new CFS steel shaft, the G20 optimizes feel and trajectories. Distance Control The cavity’s floating CTP structure stabilizes a thin face to generate fast ball speeds and enhance distance control. Clean Appearance The hosel-to-head transition inspires confidence at address that the ball will launch easily from any lie. Optimized CG Position Weight saved by thinning the face allowed engineers to redistribute weight to the perimeter and the back flange, which positions the CG low and back to launch the ball higher and longer. Solid Feel A multi-material cavity badge made with soft elastomer heel and toe sections improves feel and sound. |
