Rapture Drivers
The Rapture Driver combines titanium,
carbon composite and innovative thinking to create a powerful and forgiving option off the tee. The visual technology of the composite crown design not only attracts attention, it pays off in performance.
The 460cc driver features a visible, web-shaped titanium crown injected with lightweight composite. PING engineers relied on computer optimization models driven by a Cray Supercomputer to analyze the crown to ensure structural integrity and performance. Acoustical engineering was also heavily employed to produce a solid, powerful sound.

| The webbed rear portion of the titanium crown is filled with carbon composite, allowing 20 grams to be placed in the back heel and toe. Ping used a supercomputer to analyze the structural integrity of the crown when determining where to place the web structure. It's a strong entry at the pricey end of the spectrum, but a step forward, without stepping too far from G5.

| Bought with the VS Proto. Best driver I have ever hit, composite head or otherwise. Nice sound, fantastic distance, holds the line. A truly exceptional piece of golf equipment. |

| Incredible...that's how I feel about this latest offering from Ping. I thought my old G2 was a great club, but this leaves it in the dust. Pulled it out of the box and headed to the range...after about 5 or 6 swings with it to get the feel, I was consistantly hitting longer and much straighter drives. The Ping folks have really hit on something good with this club. I am anxious for the local pro shops to get the Rapture irons in so I can have a go with them as well |

| WOW! THis driver is long! Ping rep was at CC and I had it on the range with the TFC 909 Stiff Shaft. Deep and long. Played a R7 TP 425 prior and one range session sold me on this club! |
